Monday, July 9: Ailsa of Where’s my backpack? has challenged us with another travel theme: Night. She writes: Do you have a place you love viewing at night? I’m looking forward to seeing your take on this week’s travel theme.
Here’s the Muttrah seafront at night, from the Muttrah corniche.
High above the waters at the eastern end of Muttrah harbor sits the modest Muttrah Fort, which is not really a proper fort at all. It’s more of a single high wall with a round tower at either end, balanced precariously at the top of a craggy ridge. It’s especially dramatic illuminated after dark.
