Saturday, June 2: Today is Six Word Saturday and here’s what I have to say:
UNITED STATES EMBASSY: EXTRA PASSPORT PAGES
I visited the U.S. Embassy in Muscat today to get additional pages stitched into my passport. Now I am all set to leave Oman on August 2!! I only had two blank pages left, enough to get me to the U.S. and back, but not to Greece. So now I’m set to do a lot more traveling over the next year! Those who know me know this makes me very happy…

Wouldn’t be right to leave them empty for too long
How cool!
Do you mind me asking.. when this passport is full do you get to keep it? What a great piece of ephemery to have for a memory or scrapbook. How much fun it would be to tell the story of each country’s trip.
Ever in Oregon look me up and we’ll make it so…
Baroness, you can keep your passport when it’s filled up; at least I was able to keep my last one. They just cut off a corner of the front cover to show it’s expired. It is a great souvenir of your travels. Thanks for the invitation; I will definitely look you up if I come to Oregon!!
You’re so right, Madhu. You know I won’t let them stay blank for long!
I travelled down off Barton Mountain in December, might have to leave again in August. Out of town twice within 12 months. I, too, am becoming quite the globetrotter!
All right, good for you globetrotting Ron!
I dream of filling a passport!
You will, I’m sure, Gilly!!
